What a Team Pays

In short Artisan charges a flat price per account, not per seat. Where a plan lists a user limit, it is shown below.

  • Intern: $280 a month on monthly billing, or $3,000 a year billed annually.
  • Employee: $660 a month on monthly billing, or $7,200 a year billed annually.

Is There a Free Plan?

In short Yes. Free plan: 300 credits a month; trial: 10,000 credits for 30 days, no card.

The Free plan includes:

  • 300 credits a month
  • Lead search, lists, enrichment and agent swarm research
  • No campaigns, deliverability tools or integrations

Paid plans start at $250 a month (Intern, billed annually; $280 on monthly billing).

Hidden Costs and Limits

In short 6 costs and limits from Artisan's public pages to check before you buy.

  • The pricing page has two tabs. Startups shows the self-serve Free, Intern and Employee prices; Businesses & Enterprises, the default tab, shows Team, Scale and Enterprise, all Contact sales.
  • Intern credit steps: 10,000, 12,000 or 16,000 credits at $280, $330 or $440 a month, or $250, $300 or $400 a month billed annually. Employee steps: 25,000, 34,000 or 42,000 credits at $660, $880 or $1,110 a month, or $600, $800 or $1,000 a month billed annually.
  • Annual billing is marked Save 10% and gives the full credit allocation upfront; unused credits do not roll over at the end of an annual term. On monthly plans, unused credits carry over until the end of the following billing period.
  • The credit estimator counts about 20 credits per lead for cold outbound without phone and 30 with phone steps. When credits run out, new enrollments pause until you buy more credits or upgrade.
  • Mailboxes and phone numbers are billed separately in dollars, and the pricing page does not list those prices. The human power dialer is $75 a seat a month, or $67 billed annually.
  • Trial: 10,000 credits for 30 days with all features and no card, for new customers, one per company. Without a card at the end, the account drops to the Free plan and campaigns pause.

Is Artisan Worth the Price?

In short Ken's view: Artisan is worth it if you want an email-first AI BDR with a published entry price and a 30-day credit trial before you pay.

Ken's view, from Artisan's public pages. It is worth the price if:

  • You want an email-first AI BDR with a published entry price and a 30-day credit trial before you pay.
  • Your reps call, and you want call steps and a power dialer in the same sequence as email.
  • You want a sales-led plan with a CSM and Salesforce sync, sized around 2,500 or 6,000 leads a month.

Limits to weigh against the price:

  • No documented LinkedIn step: the site mentions social outreach, but the help center lists 3 sequence step types, email, manual task and human call.
  • Ava does not place calls; call steps queue leads for your reps on the power dialer at $75 a seat a month ($67 billed annually).
  • Mailboxes and phone numbers are billed separately in dollars, and their prices are not published.
  • On the self-serve table, Salesforce sync, SSO and audit logs need Enterprise, and cross-sell campaigns and webhooks need Employee.

Ken runs email and LinkedIn steps (profile visits, connection requests, messages, InMail fallback) in one sequence, and a reply on either channel stops the other; Artisan's help center documents no LinkedIn step. Ken has no dialer or phone calls, so Artisan is the better fit if your reps call from the same tool.
