Integrations

Ken + Google Workspace Integration

Connect your Google Workspace or Gmail inboxes to Ken with Google sign-in, and Ken sends your campaign emails from them and pulls replies into Ken every 60 seconds. Connecting your own inboxes is free on every plan.

What the Integration Does

In short Send campaigns from your Gmail and Google Workspace inboxes and read replies in Ken.

Ken connects to each Gmail or Google Workspace inbox with Google sign-in, not a password. It asks Google for two permissions: send email and read email. Ken sends your campaign emails from the inbox and brings the replies into Ken.

Ken checks every connected inbox for new mail every 60 seconds, so replies show up in Ken's inbox, where you or the reply agent answer them.

No inboxes yet? Ken can provide Google inboxes for 200 credits ($4) a month each on Platform. Google Calendar sync comes with Calendar (Coming); today this connection covers email.

How to Connect Google Workspace

In short Connect Google Workspace in 4 steps.

  1. Allow Ken Mail in Google Admin (Workspace only)

A Google Workspace admin does this once per domain. In the Admin console, open Security, then Access and data control, then API controls, then Manage App Access. Click Configure new app, search with the client ID Ken shows you, select Ken Mail, choose All users and set access to Trusted. Personal Gmail skips this step.

  2. Open Connect Inbox in Ken

In Ken, open Delivery, then Inboxes, and click Connect Inbox. Pick Gmail.

  3. Sign in with Google

Click Login and sign in with the Google account of the inbox. Approve sending and reading email.

  4. Repeat for each inbox

Connect every sending inbox the same way. Each one appears on the Inboxes list with its status.

Use Cases
