Our Verdict

Should You Use Lindy?

Ken's view: Lindy is a good pick for a Slack-first AI assistant that runs inbox, meeting and recurring work for each teammate, with a shared credit pool and no overage bills. It is not built for outbound: it has no built-in contact data, sends email only through connected inboxes, has no LinkedIn messaging, and every user needs a paid seat.

Lindy Pros

  • Routines run on a schedule or on events such as an email received, a Slack message or a meeting ending, and you set them up by describing them in plain English.
  • A dry run fires a routine on real data and shows what it would have done without sending, posting or writing anything.
  • Connects to 1,000+ tools and any hosted MCP server, with HubSpot and Salesforce actions for contacts, deals and tasks.
  • Every seat adds its credits to one workspace pool, and admins can cap how much each teammate uses.
  • No overage bills: when credits run out Lindy pauses, and top-ups cost $10 per 1,000 credits and don't expire.

Lindy Cons

  • There is no visual workflow editor: a routine is a trigger, a plain-English prompt and a destination.
  • Every active user needs a paid seat, from $29.99 a month, and no annual price is published.
  • Credit use varies by task, from 2 credits for an everyday ask to 2,500 for a big build, and monthly plan credits don't roll over.
  • LinkedIn actions cover posts, comments and profile lookups, not messages or connection requests, and email goes out through your connected Gmail or Outlook.

Who Is Lindy For?

In short Lindy is an AI assistant that works in Slack, email and iMessage, handling inbox, meetings, research and scheduled routines across connected tools for individuals and teams.

Pick Lindy if one of these is true:

  • You want an AI assistant in Slack that handles inbox, meetings and research for each person on the team.
  • You want recurring work described in plain English that runs on a schedule or on email, Slack and calendar events.
  • You want one shared credit pool with per-person caps and no overage bills.

Is Lindy Worth It?

In short Ken's view: worth it for teams that want an AI assistant in Slack for inbox, meetings and recurring tasks, less so for outbound teams that need contact data and email plus LinkedIn sending in one workflow.

  • The pricing page sells one Team plan with a credit selector, from 3,000 credits for $29.99 to 1,750,000 credits for $9,999.50 a seat a month. Lindy's docs call the 3,000, 15,000 and 35,000-credit seats Plus, Pro and Max.
