What the CSV converter does

It turns an export from one tool into the import format of another. Drop an Apollo, Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Instantly or Smartlead file, pick the target, and the columns are renamed and reordered to match. The extra columns you choose are kept as custom fields.

The file is converted in your browser and never uploaded.

How to read the result

The mapping table shows each target column and the source column feeding it. Required target columns that have no source, usually email, are marked so you can map them by hand. The preview shows the first rows exactly as they will be written.

How to use it

Run the list cleaner first, then convert, then import. Keep the custom fields your template uses, and name them the way your merge tags spell them. Check the preview for one or two rows with accents or long company names before importing the whole file.

Why it matters for cold email

Most import screens map columns, but they map them one file at a time and by guess. A wrong guess sends first names into the last-name field or drops the column your personalization depends on. Converting first means the import screen has nothing left to guess.

Questions

Which formats can I convert between?
Exports from Apollo, Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Instantly, Smartlead and similar tools in, and import files for Ken, Apollo, Instantly, Smartlead, HubSpot and lemlist out.
How do I import an Apollo export into Instantly or Smartlead?
Drop the Apollo CSV here, choose Instantly or Smartlead as the target and download. The email, name, company and title columns are mapped to the target's fields, and any other column you keep becomes a custom field you can use as a merge tag.
Will I lose columns the target does not have?
Only if you drop them. Every column you keep is written as a custom field with its original name, so it can still be used in templates.
Does it keep accents and special characters?
Yes. Output is UTF-8. If your source file already shows broken characters like "José", fix it with the CSV encoding fixer first, because converting cannot undo damage that is already in the file.
What does HubSpot need to import contacts?
HubSpot uses the email address as the unique key for contacts, so the email column matters most: rows with an existing email update that contact instead of creating a new one. The converter maps the rest to HubSpot's default contact properties.
