What split CSV does
It cuts one large CSV or Excel file into smaller ones, either by row count or by the value in a column.
- By row count: every file gets the same number of rows, and the header row is repeated in each.
- By column value: one file per value, for example one per country, per owner or per campaign.
The file is read in your browser and never uploaded, and the parts download together.
How to read the result
The preview lists every output file with its name and row count. For a split by column, rows with an empty value go to their own file so none are lost. Row counts across all files add up to the original.
How to use it
Split by row count when a file is too big for a spreadsheet, an import limit or a daily sending batch. Split by column to hand each rep their own territory or to run one campaign per segment with copy written for it. Shuffle the file first if you split by row count for an A/B test, so each part gets a fair mix.
Why it matters for cold email
Sending one generic email to a whole export is what gets ignored. Splitting by industry, country or seniority lets each segment get its own first line and offer. Smaller batches also make problems visible earlier: if the first part bounces badly, you stop before sending the rest.
